On Tuesday this week, I got the chance to preview all of the upcoming 2019 Holidays releases exclusive to Mecca.
In this article, you will get to see a mixture of photos and videos from the Mecca Holiday 2019 Preview. I've also archives my Instastories on my Instagram Profile @teacupofmakeup_luxe under "MECCA2019".
This is very heavy on the photos and videos article. I wasn't able to get the names of all the sets nor the prices, so I have left those out for now. Once I get them, I'll be doing my 2019 Gift Guide.
Mecca Holiday 2019 Preview
I've covered the preview in the order of the following sections:
Stocking Stuffers
Skincare Sets
Luxury Items
Must-Have Makeup
Mecca Cosmetica (in-house brand)
Mecca Max (in-house brand)
These are all from brands exclusive to Mecca Cosmetic and Mecca Maxima.

About this year's packaging
Mecca has had the tradition of commissioning women to create artwork that forms the backbone to each Holiday release. This year's beautiful artwork comes from Tammy Kanat. I LOVE what she has done. These specially commissioned artworks make each year's packaging (boxes and bags) collectible pieces of art
Watch the clip below to see the Artist, Tammy Kanat.
The artwork is comprised of two separate sections. Each handwoven by the artist. In some of the photos above, you can see the materials used. I had a close look of each piece and each one has been painstakingly put together.
The bright colours and intricate designs make this year's artwork one of my faves so far.
Stocking Stuffers
I think you are going to LOVE this year's stocking stuffers and Christmas Tree decorations. Some of them are also found under Must-Have Makeup; Mecca Cosmetic and Mecca Maxima. I've already got my eyes on few.
Skincare Sets
The Skincare Sets were divided into more affordable brands to the Luxe brands. I think each set represents great value for someone wanting to try the best of each brand.
Luxury Gift Sets
This. Is. My. Happy. Place. Wondrous to behold.
There is now a larger carousel/windmill topper for the regular sized candles. It is different this year as each charm that dangles down has more intricate cut-outs of whimsical creatures like a lady bug.
The mini (not so mini) trio set comes with the carousel topper (which has been very popular since introduced in 2017). This is one set not to be missed if you are a Diptyque fan.
The glass jar behind is a beautiful piece to have on display. It fits all regular sized Diptyque candles and I can image when the candle is lit up and placed within, just how pretty the light cast by it will be. I'm not sure but it could be hand-blown glass.
Must-Have Makeup
Lots of cute and cool kits from brands like Too Faced; Urban Decay; Bare Minerals; and Smashbox. Along with the uber cool "Studio 54" NARS collection. The Annual Limited Edition Hourglass palette comes in two choices as well.
I particularly LOVE makeup, so let's start with one of my favourite brands: NARS. This year's collection is all about disco and disco was all about Studio 54, a famous night club in NYC that hosted famous people like Andy Warhol, during the "disco movement".
Expect some very pretty cool palettes and kits. The packaging is glitzy with lots of sequins.
The colour palette is very "disco barbie" with hot pinks and golds.
This one is the stand-out. The shades chosen are gorgeous and very wearable. PLUS you get the cool star embossing. It is almost to pretty use. I suspect that this one will sell out in seconds.
Gorgeous packaging. It also has the sharpener in-built into the box (it is on the right hand side at the bottom).
